World Aid Network — A Trusted UK Muslim Charity
An initiative built on transparency, scholar endorsement, and a genuine 100% donation policy. No middlemen. No overhead from Zakat. Just impact.
What makes a trustworthy Muslim charity?
A trustworthy Islamic charity operates with full transparency about how donations are used, adheres to the requirements of Zakat law, obtains scholar endorsement for its programmes, and maintains clear accountability from donor to beneficiary. World Aid Network was established on these principles.
Our 100% donation policy
Every penny of your Zakat and Sadaqah reaches those in need. Administrative costs are covered entirely by Gift Aid and specific administrative donations — never deducted from Zakat funds. This is verified by Islamic scholars and published openly.
Scholar-endorsed causes
Our two causes — cataract eye surgery and cancer treatment — have been reviewed and endorsed as Zakat-eligible by Islamic scholars. The recipients (the destitute poor who cannot afford medical care) fall clearly within the categories of Zakat recipients defined in the Quran.
Medical verification
Our cataract programme is medically verified by Mr Mohamed Mohyudin, Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon, who has performed over 5,000 cataract surgeries and works with partner hospitals in Pakistan.
Why we built this
Too many Muslim charities take administration fees from Zakat funds. Too few provide genuine, verifiable transparency about where money goes. World Aid Network was built as an initiative that Muslims can trust — with a calculator to help fulfil their obligation and a donation pathway that meets the standards of Islamic law.
