Where We Work
Three countries, some of the world's largest Muslim populations, and millions in urgent medical need. Our partnerships deliver accountable, scholar-verified Zakat where it is needed most.
Pakistan
Pakistan is home to over 220 million Muslims and faces severe shortages of ophthalmic and oncology care in rural areas. Our partner hospitals in Karachi, Islamabad, and Lahore operate cataract clinics that serve patients from across the country. Cancer treatment partnerships focus on patients with no access to government health cover.
Indonesia
With a Muslim population of over 230 million, Indonesia is the world's largest Muslim-majority country. Remote island communities face the greatest challenges in accessing specialist medical care. World Aid Network supports outreach programmes that bring ophthalmic teams to communities that would otherwise never see a specialist.
Malaysia
Malaysia's underprivileged communities — particularly among migrant workers and rural populations — lack access to quality specialist medical care. Our partner networks in Malaysia focus on identifying patients who fall through the gaps of the national health system and connecting them with funded treatment.
